It is at the option of resigning director to file DIR-11 where the company has already filed DIR-12 with in the prescriber period of 30 days from the date of resignation. In case the company has failed to file the form DIR-12, the resigning Director can file DIR-11 intimating the RoC about his resignation along with reasons for such resignation.
